A unique cultural phenomenon, Rang-e-Rekhta is a festival for the senses. Hosted by Rekhta Foundation, Rang-e-Rekhta is a magical moment to mark Urdu’s phenomenal outreach. It honors Urdu’s various facets that include Mushaira, Qawwali, Dastangoi, Plays, Calligraphy and a host of other events that mesmerize its lovers. Urdu finds its resonance across the length and breadth of the country. Spurred by the staggering response of our flagship festival - Jashn-e-Rekhta, we feel it is time to reach out to new destinations. Our first stop in our endeavor to promote Urdu will be Chandigarh. We will be in the beautiful city with Rang-e-Rekhta on the 27th of August 2016. The event will witness a Qawwali performance by Sabri Brothers and a Grand Mushaira by ten celebrated poets. We invite you to celebrate Urdu’s eloquence and spirit with us.
